Explore prop and hands-on assists with Celi and Rose. This workshop will offer a deeper energetic experience of asana, inviting a greater understanding of the poses; the physical body and of connection to atman (soul or self).
First we will journey through a variety of shapes from standing asana and twists, to forward folds and backbends, navigating how to find more stability, comfort and ease using support such as straps, blocks and blankets. We will also explore how we can safely and sensitively create pockets of spatial empowerment for another yogi using the power of touch. Expect play, partner work, the opportunity to delve into anatomy, and give and receive constructive feedback.
Celi will then hold a Hatha practice allowing you to implement everything that you have learned in your own movement and also receive ‘feel-good’ adjustments from both teachers. Expect static postures, mindful breathwork and a slower pace. This dynamic allows for a greater focus, challenging your strength and flexibility, while at the same time nurturing mindfulness.
